How the valves are integrated

WICOVALVE® valves are applied with heat or ultrasonic sealing. Automatic sealing takes place during the packaging process on form, fill, and seal equipment. However, we also supply prefabricated stand-up pouches and gusset bags wit integrated valves.

The functional principle

The membrane opens as soon as the product generates internal pressure. The membrane remains open until the overpressure has dropped to below 0.5 mbar.

Sealing process

WICOVALVE® valves are applied with thermal or ultrasonic sealing. The overpressure valve is always sealed on the inside of the laminate.
